Clevertouch Lynx 8 Whiteboard Software
To get the Lynx whiteboard software onto your computer you will first need to download and install it. This will be done automatically when you launch it the first time from the MyApps store.
The installer lives under the staff tab of MyApps or you can simply type “lynx” into the search bar to find it.
When you click on the Lynx icon the message below will be displayed
The install will happen in the background and after a few minutes you will see this message. At this point you only need to log off and back in again, you do not need to restart the computer.
After the you have logged back after the install you can access the software a couple of ways.
You can return to MyApps but you will have to type in “lynx” for it to display (there is a known issue where the icon does not show up after install)
Alternatively, you can use the shortcut that has been left on the staff share. You can copy this shortcut to your own desktop.
When you open the software, you can right click on the lynx icon on the task bar and choose the the pin to task bar option.
This will keep the icon on the task bar.
